Google has announced new features in Gmail aimed at making it easier for users to manage purchase confirmations and promotional emails. The update is rolling out just ahead of the holiday season.
Purchases View

A new Purchases view will organize all shopping-related emails from order confirmations to delivery updates into a single list. This will allow users to track their online orders in one place instead of searching through their inbox. Important updates, such as items arriving within 24 hours, will continue to appear in the main inbox.
Smarter Promotions Tab
The Promotions tab is also getting an upgrade. Instead of showing the most recent emails first, Gmail will now sort promotions by “most relevant.” The system will highlight top deals and add nudges to remind users about offers before they expire. Users will still have the option to switch back to the old sorting method if they prefer.

Google says the aim of these features is to reduce inbox clutter and help users focus on the messages that matter most.
