Whether you’re learning to cook a French delicacy, mastering sewing from an Indian artisan, or exploring eerie travel spots worldwide, auto dubbing lets you enjoy videos in your language seamlessly.
How Does It Work?
Follow these easy steps to get started with auto dubbing:
1. Upload Your Video
🎥 Just upload your video as usual—nothing extra needed!
YouTube automatically detects the language of your content and creates dubbed versions in other languages.
2. Review and Manage Your Dubbed Videos
🛠️ Want to check your dubs? Go to YouTube Studio and head to the “Languages” section.
Here, you can:
- Preview your dubbed videos.
- Unpublish or delete any dubs you don’t like.
3. Enable Auto Dubbing in YouTube Studio
💻 Not sure if auto dubbing is available for your channel?
Visit the “Advanced Settings” in YouTube Studio.
If available, review your dubs before making them live!
Languages Supported
- From English to: French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish.
- To English from the same supported languages above.
Viewers can easily switch between the original language and the auto-dubbed track using the track selector, and YouTube remembers their preference for future videos.
Things to Note
- This technology is still evolving, so dubbing may not always perfectly capture the speaker’s tone or context.
- Feedback is crucial to help us improve accuracy and make dubs sound even more natural!
